Where are you located?
We are located at 710 Cooper Street, Edgewater Park, NJ 08010. Our location is steps away from the Beverly/Edgewater Park Riverline Station, with easy access to/from Trenton, Camden, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas.
How many people can the venue hold?
The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 50 guests seated and 65 guests standing (cocktail style).
What events can your venue host?
We host several types of events including baby and bridal showers, adult/children birthday parties, pop-up shops, paint and sips, brunches and day parties, educational seminars, workshops, playdates, rehearsal dinners, intimate dinners, date nights, elopements, and micro-weddings. We are excited to discuss any event you do not see on the above list. Just give us a call!
Is there parking?
There is a free, public parking lot (Beverly/Edgewater light rail station), located across the street from the venue, available for you to park. This parking lot is located on Railroad Avenue and Blyer Street, offers ample parking, and is just steps away from the venue. Guests should enter "Beverly/Edgewater Park" into their GPS for directions to the lot. Guests also have access to the small parking lot located directly across the street (evenings and weekends only).
Do you have packages?
Yes, we do! We offer 6 hour rental packages on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Contact us with any questions or if you find a package that fits your needs.
Do you offer decor services?
Yes, we provide light décor such as backdrops, table settings, chair covers, drapery, and more. Additionally, we can provide you with a referral to obtain décor items that we do not offer.
Can we cook at the location?
No. The venue has a separate kitchenette prep area; however, no food is permitted to be cooked. All food must be prepared and ready to serve upon arrival. We do offer stainless steel chafing dishes and a food warmer for your convenience.
Do we need security?
The safety of our guests is very important to us; therefore, the following events may require the use of a security officer:
-Weekend, evening parties (after 4 pm, Friday through Sunday) with 40 or more guests
-Weekend, evening parties (after 4 pm, Friday through Sunday) that include the consumption of alcohol (wine, beer, spirits)
If applicable, the Venue will provide the security service and the Renter will be responsible for fee
Is a booking fee required?
Yes. A $250 non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your event date for all packages. A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your event date for all weekday, hourly events.
How many hours does the weekend rental include?
Weekend rental packages include a 6 hour rental time. The alloted timeframe includes set-up, event time, and breakdown time. If you need to book an all-day event or require additional time, please inquire to obtain additional fees and availability. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you allow alcohol?
Venue710 Creative Space is a BYOB establishment and wine, beer and spirits are permitted to be served (not for purchase) during events. The following may require a licensed/certified bartender:
- Weekend, evening parties (after 4 pm, Friday through Sunday) with 40 or more guests where alcohol will be consumed
Is there a damage fee?
A $150 refundable damage fee is required and should be included with the final payment. This fee (minus any accrued damage charges, if applicable) will be refunded to the initial payment source within 3-5 business days after the event.
What about cleaning?
At Venue710 Creative Space we believe our clients should have the convenience of enjoying their event without worrying about the task of strenuously cleaning at the end. All bookings include the cleaning fee, which includes the deep cleaning of the venue. Prior to leaving, the Renter should ensure all personal belongings, décor, spilled and leftover food/drinks, and garbage is removed from the venue. Garbage must be bagged and placed outside, inside the provided garbage cans. Failure to follow this policy will result in forfeiture of your damage deposit.
